Style Trend: Statement Tights!

What I am loving right now are statement tights. Bright, funky, unique, beaded or studded I love them all! From ordinary black tights we have moved on to bright, more fun pieces. They bright up a otherwise monochrome outfit, just be a bit adventurous with your tights. Instead of putting on a pair of your black opaque tights (or grey or navy) throw on a bright or statement pair. My personal favourites if you aren't as adventurous but want some colour is a bright red, pink or deep purple pair of tights. Instant chic glam! And plus these are affordable and are so much more accessible!
These are just so easy to wear. You just feel more happier, more cheerful and more bright wearing them! Although I do have to add as these are quite bright, and well attention seeking, it is best worn with a plain one coloured dress like a white dress, blue dress or great with Little Black Dress!

The ones that I am fawning over (though I must say are almost as expensive as a pair of jeans, these aren't your ordinary $20 tights) are:
Modern Hosiery Barbarella with Swarovski crystals
and metallic beading

Modern Hosiery Pretty Peacock Tights

Bebaroque Brassy Studded Tights

Bebaroque Rozy Hand Embroidered Tights

But tell me what you think. Are you daring enough to wear any of the above out in public or are you stashing them away for a rainy day? These statement tights are here to stay and let me tell you they are going to be BIG just like the shiny leather like legging trend became BIG! :)

much love,

I've always considered the philosophy of wearing tights will definitely flaunts the sexiness of ones legs.. but i kinda exempt myself from wearing much of it since im an incomplete woman.. LOL! vi-a-v!

To Princess Poochie:
Im so jealous of you!! I would love to purchase the studded Bebaroque tights but I think they are a bit pricey when converted to Australian dollars :(

To Bena:
I totally agree! I don't think I have the world's flattering legs, but I suppose they aren't too bad. Try to wear some, be brave and have fun! Or you could always wear them around the house when no one else is around and flaunt your sexiness to yourself! :)

I think these are hit and miss. Black any style is classic and you can rarely go wrong. Bright red/purple etc = spice girls imo

I bought the studded Bebaroque ones, and I am thinking about getting the fringed ones in fuschia. In London, you can really get away with anything so it is all good to wear statement tights. Your blog is very cute by the way.

Hahaha well coming from a guy, yes. Well it depends on how the gal dresses bright tights and how toned her legs/thighs are, definately! :) But black can be borrrinnng. Don't you think?

Mademoiselle Robot:
get the fringe tights my dear! :) for me get them! haha they look awesome! And so unique too!
